We had a great time visiting Aaron's family in Southern Oregon. On top of having Christmas off, Aaron had all of last week off of work, which was pure luxury. My mother-in-law is seriously the original Martha Stewart (check that, Martha's got nothing on her!) and we got spoiled all week long. I'm not sure if my doctor is going to be too happy though... oy vey, the food! She is usually the most healthy chef, but holidays are a different story. To give you an idea- the Beitlers have a tradition of making homemade clam chowder and Caesar salad Christmas Eve. Then, Christmas morning, the traditional breakfast is Eggs Benedict. That night, we had prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes and I think there might have been something green on the table too :). And yes, that was just three of the many delicious meals we ate. Yup, I'm definitely going to get an ear-full from my doctor! But, oooooooh, it was worth every bite!
So, we've been home for a few days and I'm feeling great! I guess it's been a bit of a rough pregnancy, but I finally feel like my old self again. And I better get things together quick because we're only three months away from our due date! I can't believe how quickly it has gone. This week, the contractor is drywalling our house and it is oh-so-exciting. Basically, once you get to this point, you are getting very, very close to the end. He is telling us he'll be done by the end of February and believe me, I'm so ready! In fact, this week, we get to start picking out paint colors! Woo-hoo!!!!
Lil' baby Beitler has become very active and it's so fun to see! We just bought a Flip video camera and are hoping to catch some of his acrobatics on video. Last night, I was laying on my back and we were literally able to watch him rolling around and kicking and dancing :). I am using the word, "him", but we still don't know for sure yet. We have another appointment on Wednesday and we're hoping he'll cooperate this time! :) Oh, and we'll be bringing our Flip to that too so hopefully we'll get some good footage :).
Let's see.... what else, what else..... I just finished up a new website (coming soon) and also added some new prints to my Etsy shop. I've also learned how to bind my own journals and have been trying desperately to find time to delve in and have some serious fun. Photos of those to come soon. In the meantime, here are my two latest prints for sale:

Ooo - how fun to capture the movements on Flip! Sounds like you have a party animal in your belly :-) Did you and Aaron end up going on vacation after Medford Christmas?
Hi Jaime! Just checking in to say Happy New Year and I'm so glad the babe is doing well! I had my 29 1/2 week dr. appt today and gained 6 lbs over Christmas. YIKES! I can't wait to hear what he/she is!!!! Glad you had a great Christmas. Love ya, Hannah
Go baby Beitler!
Noah lived in my ribcage for the last 4 months or so. I think that's why he's such a good climber now.
Watch out! Haha!
I LOVE your new pieces!
Have a blessed new year, Jaime!
XO
