When it Rains, Make Lemonade

I am still in search of a doctor who can help me with my pain, but all I can think about lately is how grateful I am to be able to paint still.  Since I cannot sit or stand still very long, painting in short bursts works out well- especially with a busy toddler running around!  I am embarrassed to tell you how much paint has dripped on the poor unsuspecting sweetheart!   I have converted our dining room into my studio and it is the perfect space to work in.  It has a humongous window that overlooks our porch and front yard.  The light is incredible and the roses and flowers that are blooming are amazing to look at!

My paint and brushes are always waiting for me to come flying in.... paint for ten minutes and then head back to bed.  I'm not even going to think about all the extra time it takes to actually finish something painting this way because honestly, I am just ecstatic that I'm able to paint at all!

If you are in our neck of the woods, you can find some of my art prints at Vine and Branches Christian bookstore in Lodi, Ca.  And I am praying, praying, praying that I'll have some originals  ready to go in a month or so.  They've been hanging on all of our walls, each with just some minor finishing touches needed.  I can't wait to share them!  In the meantime, here is a sneak peek of a few of the things I've been working on:

"Hope On" 30x40

"Seek to Love" 40x60

I wish you could show the canvases in 3-D! Or better yet, I wish we could turn your house into an art museum.
